General Conditions

Article 1 — Definitions

House of Royal Hearts: the organisation offering events, retreats, coaching, and online programmes, based in the Netherlands.
Client: any natural or legal person who enters into an agreement with House of Royal Hearts.
Agreement: any booking, registration, or contract for services offered by House of Royal Hearts.

Article 2 — Applicability

These general conditions apply to all agreements between House of Royal Hearts and clients, unless otherwise agreed in writing. By registering for any service, the client accepts these conditions.

Article 3 — Bookings and registration

Registrations are confirmed upon receipt of full or agreed partial payment. Places are limited and not reserved until payment is received. House of Royal Hearts reserves the right to decline a registration without stating reasons.

For events booked through Hipsy, the booking terms of Hipsy apply in addition to these conditions.

Article 4 — Prices and payment

• All prices are stated in euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable.
• Payment is due within the period stated at booking, unless otherwise agreed.
• For payment plans, the full amount remains due even if sessions are missed.
• House of Royal Hearts reserves the right to adjust prices. Existing confirmed bookings are not affected.

Article 5 — Cancellation by the client

For events (temples, retreats, Arc):

• More than 30 days before the event: full refund, minus a €15 administration fee.
• 14–30 days before the event: 50% refund.
• Less than 14 days before the event: no refund. A credit for a future event may be offered at our discretion.

For coaching programmes:

• Individual sessions cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full.
• Programme packages are non-refundable once commenced, but sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to hello@houseofroyalhearts.com.

Article 6 — Cancellation or changes by House of Royal Hearts

House of Royal Hearts reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to insufficient registration, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, clients will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future event.

We reserve the right to exclude a participant from an event if their behaviour is deemed unsafe or harmful to others, without refund.

Article 7 — Participation requirements

Participants must be 21 years of age or older unless stated otherwise. By registering, participants confirm they are in a mental and physical state that allows safe participation. Participants are responsible for informing us of any relevant medical or psychological conditions prior to the event.

All participants agree to abide by the Royal Guidelines and the consent framework that governs every gathering.

Article 8 — Liability

House of Royal Hearts is not liable for any physical or psychological injury, loss of property, or other damages arising from participation in our events or programmes, except in the case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct on our part.

Participation is at the client's own risk. House of Royal Hearts strongly advises clients to assess their own readiness and, where relevant, consult a healthcare professional before participating.

Article 9 — Confidentiality

What is shared within our spaces remains within our spaces. House of Royal Hearts and its facilitators maintain strict confidentiality regarding participant experiences. Participants are expected to uphold the same standard toward fellow participants.

Article 10 — Photography and recordings

Photography and video recording during events is not permitted without explicit written consent from House of Royal Hearts. Any promotional content created by House of Royal Hearts will only feature participants who have given explicit consent.

Article 11 — Complaints

Complaints should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the relevant event or service to hello@houseofroyalhearts.com. We will respond within 14 business days.

Article 12 — Governing law

These conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in the Netherlands.
